We have participated in a number of national and European research projects on text and data analysis as well as on scholarly communication.

OpenAIRE

Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe (OpenAIRE) has the goal to develop an open access, participatory infrastructure for scientific information. This is a series of projects funded by the 7th Framework Programme and Horizon 2020 of the European Commission. Both in the current (OpenAIREplus) and the upcoming (OpenAIRE2020) project ICM UW the leader of two workpackages:

EuDML

The European Digital Mathematics Library (EuDML) delivers an innovative framework for access and exploitation of Europe's rich heritage of mathematics. The project was partially funded by the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme of the European Commission. Our team was involved with work packages WP7 (Metadata enhancer toolset implementation) and WP8 (Association analyser implementation) of this project.

POL-on

POL-on is a system project of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, funded by the Operational Programme Human Capital. The goal is to create an information system for higher education. Our team is involved with subtask 25.1 of the project.

SYNAT

System for Science and Technology (SYNAT) aims at creating an open hosting and communication platform for science, education and open knowledge society. It is a scientific project commissioned by the Polish National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR). Our team is involved with the A3 phase of this project.

SAOS

SAOS is a judgment searching and analysis system. It integrates data available from common courts, Supreme Court, Constitutional Tribunal, and National Appeals Chamber. The project improves accessibility of the knowledge hidden in judgments. Especially, it addresses the needs of NGOs, including easy access for people with disabilities. Our group was responsible for extracting information from unstructured data (pdfs, htmls) and for text-mining tasks carried out within the project.
